Surrounded by picturesque nature, the house serves as the perfect starting point for extensive hiking right from the doorstep in the summer or adventurous ski touring in the surrounding woods and mountains in the winter. Ski enthusiasts will benefit from the short distance to the base station of Turracher Höhe, which is about a 5-minute drive (2.3 km) away, where the entire ski area can be accessed without waiting time. For dining, a cozy lodge with a terrace at the base station takes care of your culinary needs. The historical building, dating back 250 to 300 years, was lovingly and thoroughly renovated between 2009 and 2012 and was equipped with a new roof and a modern pellet heating system in 2017. It features a cozy apartment in the attic, equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including an open kitchen, wood-burning stove, TV, and Wi-Fi. For guests with hybrid or electric vehicles, a charging option from the house power supply is available upon request. Additionally, the apartment features the exclusive enjoyment of a terrace, where you can spend relaxing hours outdoors. A private parking space at the house makes arrival easier. However, the winter beauty of the location at 1260 meters may mean that guests have the opportunity to experience clearing paths themselves with the "fitness device" snow shovel. Our house caretaker is always on hand to support and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Further well-known ski areas like Bad Kleinkirchheim and Radstädter Tauern are also easily accessible.
