Barney Point Cottage is about location, space, comfort and consistant sunshine Your accomodation for your holiday is no less than what we as your host would expect, and because of this great weather in Gladstone, which is about 25ish in Winter and 34ish in Summer, we have made good use of the outdoor areas for dinning, bbq's, coffee and reading quietly whislt enjoying the cool breezes. Inside everything is provided, towels, sheets, bathroom condiments, fully equiped kitchen to cook your favourite meals and a good size table with a huge fridge. Your location is walking distance to cafe's, pub, chemist, iga, fish n chips and a great massage Not to mention 3 min drive to city. Walk to Barney Point Beach for a picnic or drive to nearby beaches for swimming, fishing and surfing. Day trips are choices by the galore, 1770 beach, Agnus water Beach, National parks or what ever your adventure desires. A great base, lots of space to relax, and lots to explore

Ask the locals and its all about the weather They are proud to spout, "we dont have winter here", its shorts and tshirt everyday Its true However as its Australia, beaches for swiming, fishing, surfing and canoeing. Gladstone has National Parks, and all the shops you require. Great size city, not tooo big that all drivers would feel confident to get around Close to everything to visit, Great Barrier Reef, Sunshine Coast, Maryborough, and all amazing well known beaches. Public transport outside your door, and trains and buses should you venture further Check your local Tourist Info centre
