It is the perfect place to escape, relax or use as a base to explore the Mornington Peninsula. We decided to make a 'tree change' to Red Hill and create a new life together away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We started looking for a rural retreat that we could get to easily after work on Fridays - somewhere beautiful on the Mornington Peninsula hinterland that we could get to know intimately in the years ahead. That's how we found our farm, our haven. At first, we spent our time exploring, planting trees and embarked on a steep learning curve in running a small working farm. Then, we started developing our garden, created a French-inspired potager, planted an orchard with 20 fruit trees and built a sunken outdoor fire pit to sit around at the end of our working days. The garden was a labour of love and continues to bring us immense pleasure. Living here is a dream come true and we wanted others to be able to enjoy our property, sample the good things a sophisticated, country life has to offer. We started building our new home in 2014 then created Haven Red Hill from the original farm house. Come stay with us. We'd love to see you Dave and Kerry
Haven Red Hill is surrounded by rolling hills, pristine natural bush and across the road are vineyards and strawberry fields. It's the perfect place to escape, relax or use as a base to explore the Mornington Peninsula. We are a few minutes' drive to the Red Hill South shopping area and gorgeous wineries, renown restaurants and artisan food producers are around every bend. You can meander along many local walking trails and spectacular beaches, and a within half hour drive are the indulgent hot springs, several pristine golf courses and the Sorrento to Queenscliff car ferry.
