The tranquil feel when you drive through to the property with rabbits hopping happily about. The property itself was clean, tidy, spacious and there was freshly baked bread! Stocked with all the things you need and more, we highly recommend this...

Port Arthur is famous for the Port Arthur Historic Site and its' ghost tours' but there is also a lot more to see. We have a view of Carnarvon bay in front of us and look directly out onto the Isle of the Dead. The view is magic. Often you will get up in the morning and see a large cruise boat moored out there. In front of use is a little beach but we are also close to Stewart's Bay Beach and also Safety Cove Beach. You can walk to Point Puer or the Golf Course for an interesting game of golf! You can also drive to Remarkable Caves, White Beach, the historic coal mines at Salt Water River, Fortescue Bay, Eagle Hawk Neck, the Blow Hole or Devil's Kitchen. Local shops with takeaway food options and a bottle shop are nearby as well as two quality restaurants that focus on Tasmanian produce. At Nubeena there are two IGA Supermarkets. There are also wonderful walks in the area including Crescent Bay, Cape Huay, 3 Capes Walk, Lime Bay, Waterfall Bay, Shipstern Bluff and Cape Raoul. Not to mention a distillery,l Lavender farm, amazing boat trips out to see the coast-line and sea-life around the Tasman Peninsula and even scenic helicopter rides. Port Arthur is much much more than a day trip, so make the most of all it has to offer.
