Hi there,
Thanks for booking your stay with us!, we are excited to be able to share our beautiful property with you.
- We are 16.59km's from town, we have a cowboy on a horse on our letterbox made of metal if that helps you find us.
-We have left you some hay at the cabin to feed the very photogenic highland cows in the paddock near the cabin.
-Please feel free to wander the farm and pat the animals over the gates (not over the fences as there is a small electric wire on the
inside of each paddock at about chest height).
-If you like walking, head down the driveway to the stables and out the exit gate past the stables, turn right and there is a nice quiet
local road you can stoll along and enjoy.
-We give you complete privacy but if we ride past on our horses or in the farm buggy we will always give you a wave.
-You are in your very own private log cabin but please remember you are on a working farm so there are farm noises from time to
time.
- If we can make your stay more enjoyable or you have any issues please dont hesitate to contact us.
We hope you enjoy your stay
Kind regards
Steven
Shopping
There are numerous boutiques in Myrtleford, its best to just start at one end of town and stroll around, going from shop to shop, this helps to support local business in our town as well.
Cafes and dining
We are so lucky in Myrtleford to have some amazing places to eat where they use fresh local ingredients, the town favourite café is “Coffee Chakra”, and Vic’s coffee is to die for.
Another cool little café is “Reclaimed” this industrial style café also has great coffee and their seating in the window is big swings at a bar, then just out of town on the way to bright is Lupo’s kiln cafe which combines traditional modern Australian and Italian food.
Bastonis pizzeria is the best place in town for fresh local traditional Italian pizzas which I will testify to being better than some of the Melbourne greats for traditional pizza.
Transport
There is a local taxi in town if you decide to head in for a few vino’s!
What else is there to do in the local area:
Visit Mt Buffalo and its many walking tracks and waterfalls
Visit the tourist town of Bright and all it has to offer
Visit Lake Buffalo (3 mins drive from the c
