Sandcastles 1770 Motel & Resort is centrally located within a 5-minute walk from main shopping centres and it has direct beach access to the main patrolled surf beach in Agnes Water. There are 2 resort pools, 1 for the use of Beach Homes guests, which features a heated spa and Balinese Huts with BBQs. The other large Sandcastles resort pool is for the Garden Villas, Studios and Motel guests. It also has BBQ and outdoor settings. The Garden Villas and Beach Homes are self-contained, with fully equipped kitchens. Motels rooms offer a kitchenette with a bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. All Room Types are Air-Conditioned. The beach homes feature louvres and large sliding doors to allow the sea breeze to flow through. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans. Free WiFi is available throughout the resort There are a range of activities that can be enjoyed in the surrounding areas including Great Barrier Reef Cruises, surf lessons, tours, golf, lawn bowls, stand-up-paddle boarding and kite-surfing. “I stayed in the motel rooms on my first visit and then the Executive studios for my next visit. The studios are far superior and so much nicer (and not much more!) Swimming lessons all day on a Monday are a bit of a pain.”
