We have a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, barbeque, toaster, kettle, and cutlery for your convenience, no cooking stove, so we recommend that you bring a takeaway/ shop for your BBQ/ order in from our favorite restaurant (Alley Cat), or book yourself a food platter on your arrival, and have the best time. You wouldn't want to leave! The focal point of The Haven is undoubtedly its inviting pool, a refreshing oasis where guests can bask in the sun's warm embrace or take a refreshing dip while gazing out at the serene panoramic waterfront view. Surrounded by lush greenery and swaying palm trees, the pool area offers a private space to unwind, making it an idyllic relaxing setting. As day turns to evening, guests can savor a glass of wine on the guesthouse's charming patio, overlooking the tranquil waters. This is a family-run business and The Haven is situated adjacent to the family home and has its own private access. We're more than happy to help you with bookings or attractions and suggest the best things to do in the area by request. :) We highly recommend you: - Plan and book your tours in advance. - Take out all event travel insurance. - Make sure you have your transport pre-organized. We recommend to rent a car from one of our local rental shops. The Haven is located 10 minutes from Airlie Beach in the idyllic area of Shute Harbour. Airlie and the Whitsunday Islands are ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing, sailing, sea kayaking, and more. The Haven is also a short drive from Whitsunday Airport (Shute Harbour), which offers plane and helicopter tours of the islands and the barrier reef, as well as SkyDiving. Our location is a hotspot for travelers and tourists, with many attractions to book, lots of bush walks such as the Coral Beach bush walk which is only 5 minutes away by foot from us, Cedar Creek Falls, the famous Airlie Beach Lagoon, beautiful beaches, markets, plenty of the best restaurants and more! Shute Harbour Marina is within walking distance and offers ferry connections to the Islands as well as day tours and kayaking. If you're looking for a nice breakfast/ meal or just a snack, the local cafe at the marina offers great food you can enjoy with a view or bring in as a takeaway.
