In the heart of the Wollemi and Yengo National Parks, just 2 hours from Sydney CBD. The 220 acres fully off-grid property is set in its own valley over 1km long, the boundaries being at the ridges forming a horseshoe, making the valley a relaxing place in the bush with all the comfort of a home. This charming 1-bedroom cottage comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests, with a bunk bed in the bedroom and a convertible sofa couch in the living room. A fireplace to keep you warm in winter. It sits on 2 acres clearing and is ideal for families and groups seeking a peaceful getaway. The cottage is off-grid and powered by solar energy, adding to the serene atmosphere. There are dry toilets at the back, or you can use the shared facilities with flushing toilets and hot showers only 10 meters away. For those who want to camp, there's room for an additional 25 friends on the site. A big fire pit is available for bonfires upon request. The Shared facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, disabled amenities, an outdoor kitchen with bbq plancha, gas burners, pizza oven, and fridges. Perfect for families who want to show their kids the bush with all the comfort they require. Activities here include bushwalking, sightseeing, star gazing (telescope avail), encountering fauna and flora, as well as sports like volleyball, badminton and a soccer court.We also have several chickens/ducks so your kids can enjoy the proper farm experience. (Other farm animals coming) Access is pretty easy, any car can access it. 4WD and Bike rides (outside our prop to keep the noise down for other guests) there are many tracks around, especially in the Yengo National Park (check Big Yango Loop Trail - great scenarios) Group getaways are possible for exclusive events. My husband and I were looking for alternative ways of living 6 years ago so we purchased 220 acres to build an off-grid camping/eco-resort. The property consists of a straw bale house, shared facilities (hot showers, flushing toilets - disable toilet coming), outdoor kitchen (with pizza oven coming), solar system and worm farm septic system.
