When our children went to study abroad we decided to rebuild our family home into a place where we could welcome our children and their friends. That was the start of My Aruban Home. As much as we love traveling and discovering the world, we also like to welcome guests from all places to our house and use the opportunity to inspire them with ideas on how to discover our amazing Caribbean paradise, Aruba :)

Welcome to My Aruban Home, where we have created a series of cozy apartments as part of our garden. We are located in Bakval, 500m walking distance to amazing beaches and other amenities and attractions. This is the perfect middle point between the lively beaches of Palm Beach and the peaceful areas of Malmok and Arashi. We have five accommodations in total, where you have your privacy and all the basics you need to feel just like home.

The apartments are located in a cozy residential area in the neighbourhood of Bakval, and is just a 10 minutes walk to beaches such as Hadicurari, Palm Beach, Malmok Beach and Fisherman's Hut. Need some action? You are also close to various hotels, casinos, restaurants, shops and other attractions. Marriott Stellaris Hotel & Casino and the Ritz Carlton Hotel are just 500m away. Here you will also find a bus stop for public transportation that can take you to all the nearby beaches and Oranjestad if you wish to explore more. There is also a self-service bike rental station situated here. Bakval is a relaxed destination area, where you can have more privacy, but where you still are within reach of the Aruban tourist scene. Popular shopping, dining and entertainment areas such as Paseo Herencia, Palm Beach Plaza, South Beach, The Palm Pier and The Village are all at walking distance.
