In the south of Ilha da Magia, we have created a protected space for nature to thrive. A refuge for the fauna and flora of the Atlantic Forest, especially the Juçara Palm, a critically endangered species that generously provides the most nutritious açaí in Brazil. Surrounded by this stunning nature, the sensation is one of deep connection, heightened senses and immersion in the surrounding environment. Peace reigns here. The space does not accept parties or loud music, guaranteeing a peaceful environment in our residential and rural neighborhood. The only loud sound around here is the singing of toucans, blue jays and other birds. This 2200m² refuge is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Floripa and has 2 private houses that are independent of each other: CASA TUCANO, a charming and spacious colonial house, and CASA JUÇARA, a glass cabin immersed in the forest. CASA JUÇARA: our glass cabin surrounded by the forest is the ideal refuge for couples and families with up to two children. With large windows all around the house, you'll feel completely immersed in the forest. Monkeys and toucans visit regularly. A covered barbecue area with sea views completes the scene. There is 1 parking space inside the property. CASA TUCANO: our charming colonial house is an ideal place for retreats and gatherings of family and friends. It can comfortably accommodate a total of 11 guests in 5 bedrooms. It has large living areas, a deck with sea views, an outdoor barbecue area, a wood-burning stove, a bonfire area and plenty of green space. Two of the bedrooms are connected, making it a perfect family room. There are 2 parking spaces inside the property, and more space on the street, which is quiet and safe. The shared spaces between the houses are: the bonfire area, the parking area and the access gate to the property.

We are Amanda and Vitor, and our sons Elias Sereno and David Amado - the Corcovado Family. We are all passionate about the sea. In 2015, we went to live on a sailboat and sailed for 7 years. It was aboard our Corcovado sailboat that we took our first steps into the world of hosting, sharing our life on the water with incredible guests in the Caribbean Sea. In 2021, we made a stop on land in Florianópolis, where we renovated a colonial house and built a cabin in the forest - both hits with our guests! In 2025, we return to Africa, where our story began, and share our time between the two Atlantic coasts. We share all this with our guests and, hopefully, future friends! If you stay in one of our accommodations, we will always be available to make your stay perfect! Our neighborhood, Costa de Cima, is nestled between the foothills of the Sertão do Peri and the Atlantic Ocean, and is perfect for those who love the sea, but also forest, hiking trails and invigorating waterfall baths. Our road has only recently been paved: the rural feel and atmosphere persists with the traditional local community. Wildlife and tranquillity still abound in this area. This place is perfect as a base for multi-day explorations, and also for those who enjoy surfing, with some of the best surf spots nearby (Lagoinha and Matadeiro). Idyllic beaches, hiking trails (the famous Lagoinha do Leste and Naufragados trails) and dining in the famous restaurants of Pântano do Sul and Rota Gastronômica do Ribeirão da Ilha are just a few minutes' drive away. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take the dirt road that crosses the mountain to the other side of the island (you can stop at some secret waterfalls along the way) to enjoy a spectacular sunset, ending with a seafood dinner in a traditional Azorean restaurant or coffee in a German bakery. Supermarkets, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, gyms and beauty salons are also a short drive from the property.
