The Thoughtful Dog is located at the beautiful Humber Valley Resort & Golf Course and has a breath-taking view of the resort and Deer Lake from the deck or any of our 3 rooms. Situated on 1.5 acres, with the chalet set back 100 metres from the road, The Thoughtful Dog is both scenic and tranquil.
The Thoughtful Dog is a 3 minute drive (or 20 minute walk) from the clubhouse at the award-winning Humber Valley Resort Golf Course and if you're interested in salmon fishing, the Humber River flows through the resort. We are 40 km (25 miles) from Deer Lake Regional Airport (YDF), 15 minutes from the thriving city of Corner Brook and 65 km (40 miles) from the entrance to gorgeous Gros Morne National Park.
