Located in the heart of the historic village of Morcote, Casa Paola is a detached house that combines rustic elegance with modern comforts, ideal for a cosy stay in Ticino. The living room, with exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors, offers a warm and relaxing atmosphere. A large cream-coloured sofa stands in front of the decorative fireplace (not usable), while large windows illuminate the room. Climbing the wooden staircase, one reaches a loft used as a relaxation area, with a chaise longue, a small table and a reading light. Adjacent to the living room, the open kitchen is fully equipped and flanked by a wooden dining table with modern chairs, ideal for family meals. The sleeping area includes a double bedroom with a wrought-iron bed and a second bedroom with two single beds, both featuring exposed beams and windows overlooking the village lanes. The modern bathroom has a toilet and shower, and there is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer outside. The house provides quality linen, towels, a courtesy kit and a gift basket for breakfast. Although there is no private parking, a convenient communal car park is nearby. Smoking and commercial activities are prohibited inside the house.

Nearby: Morcote is one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland, also called the ‘Pearl of Ceresio’. Visit the beautiful Scherrer Park, with rare botanical species and various exotic plants. Don't miss the Church of Santa Maria del Sasso, the monumental staircase and the Captain's Tower. Stroll along the lakeside promenade and under the arcades, discovering the little shops and restaurants, and reach the bathing area in just 5 minutes. From the landing stage in front of the flat and the Morcote harbour, you can buy boat tickets and visit the various tourist destinations on the lake. A nearby parking garage (Autosilo Garavello) and public transport connections (bus, train, boat), whose stops are a few minutes' walk from the house, make it easy to reach the holiday flats. How to get there: If you arrive by train, from Melide train station take bus No. 431 (direction Lugano, Autosilo Balestra) for 7 stops (approx. 11 minutes) and get off at the stop ‘Morcote, Piazza Grande’. Walk about 3 minutes (140 m) to reach the building. If you are arriving by car, from the A2 motorway take the ‘Melide’ exit and follow the GPS signs: in 9 minutes you will reach the flat. Before the village, arriving from Melide, at the beginning of Morcote, there is a large sign on the right indicating a municipal car park (Autosilo Garavello), where you can leave your car at a convenient rate and there is also a bike depot. From there, walk 300 m to reach the flat.
