Isola - Alp Isola, a hamlet to linger in. The beautiful, elegant and new holiday home is in a very quiet and idyllic location in the village of Isola. In summer, the holiday flat is easily accessible by car (permission can be obtained from the landlord). There is a car park right next to Casa Bellavista Isola. In winter Isola is a dream for cross-country skiers. The cross-country ski run passes right next to the ‘Casa Bellavista Isola’ and you can enjoy the Engadin Ski Marathon directly from the living room. There is no access for cars and therefore no car park next to Casa Bellavista Isola. Isola is only accessible on foot or on cross-country skis in winter. From November to January, Isola can be reached on foot from Maloja or from Sils in 30 minutes. No possibility of travelling by car! As soon as Lake Sils is frozen, you can also reach the snow-covered mountain village of Isola on foot from Plaun da Lej across the lake. Important: In winter there is no car park next to the holiday home because the road is not passable. Description of the flat: The entrance leads directly into the holiday flat via the lower staircase. There is a double bed. In the basement you can store your cross-country skis and also use the washing machine. The stairs lead to the living area on the upper floor. On this floor you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Sils. There is a small WC with washbasin. The staircase behind the kitchen leads up to the gallery where the double bed is located.

There is a lot to discover here - hikes in all directions and over all the mountains; whether to the Bergell towards Soglio and Chiavenna or to Pontresina and Zernez, you will be back! Don't forget to take your camera with you - you'll be amazed at the beautiful pictures you'll take. You have to love winter to stay here for a long time. A week is ideal for trying out sporting experiences such as cross-country skiing, winter hiking or snowshoeing. Longer stays can also be possible.

In summer, the hamlet of Isola has an incredible appeal for many visitors. They all walk from Sils or Maloja towards Isola and linger - whether next to the beautiful flower meadows or on the hiking trails, you can take in this incredible beauty - Lake Sils shines in its grandeur, the meadows bloom in lush colours and they all walk through Isola to breathe in this breath of nature. The magnificent mountain world and the unspoilt landscape around Isola are always worth a visit. From the kitchen table you have a direct view of the Lunghin Pass - it takes about 3 hours to climb up there and once you reach the top, there is a small water spring - which is very famous. Three rivers have their source there.... take a look for yourself and enjoy the view over this paradise. In Maloja, marvel at the glacier mills in the Belvedere Park, which can be reached on foot from the Maloja post office in a 15-minute walk. Giovanni Segantini once painted his famous picture there - the muse is no longer there, only the glacier mill...In summer you can also visit the tower, from the top floor you can see directly over the lake landscape towards Muottas Muragl and on the other side down into the Bergell; you can recognise the winding Maloja Pass. Bregaglia is well known for its fine chestnut products - in autumn you can take part in the largest chestnut festival in Switzerland.
