We are an ex Travel Agent and an ex Enterteiner that came here to enjoy life everyday in this beautiful paradise. Casa Ceiba is our brand new house and our dream come true and, as Chris Mccandless said, "Happiness is only real when shared". We live on the upper floor. At Casa Ceiba you can enjoy the presence of howler monkeys, horses, cows, pigs, iguanas, skunks, squirrels, numerous species of birds and many other animals...of course, even any type of insects. You can listen to the sound of nature, choruses of frogs, crickets and cicadas and the lapping of the sea. You can also admire incredible red skies, starry nights and lots of fireflies. Situated on a half moon bay facing south towards Isla Chora in the Pacific Ocean, Samara is a long, beautiful beach, considered one of the safest in Costa Rica because of the coral reef that protects it and makes it and ideal place for diving, swimming and water sports. Here you will enjoy a pleasant, sunny climate most months of the year. Here there are many things you can do while vacationing, depending on how active you want to be: kayaking, snorkeling, surfing, horseback riding, zip lines and canopy tours, quad rentals, bike riding, small plane ride, one/half day tours (dolphin and whale watching, turtle hatching, deep sea or regular fishing, water falls, caves and more), yoga, pilates, gym, jogging...hanging out on the hammok or just watching the sunset! From Samara you can easily reach Playa Carillo, Playa Izquierda, Playa Buenavista and the stunning Playa Barrigona (not in the rainy season). Furthermore you can go to Ostional Wildlife Reserve, Punta Islita, Barra Honda National Park, Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and Nosara. Casa Ceiba is situated 300 mt from Traroc bus stop (buses from/to Nicoya) and 1,2 km from Alfaro bus stop (buses from/to San Josè).
