Casa Toucan is located in the heart of Bahia Ballena and just a few minutes walk from the beach. The two-story house, made of the finest teak logs, offers plenty of space with 126 sqm. Those who have had enough of sitting by the pool or who find it too warm in the garden can retreat to the shaded balcony. A large kitchen offers all utensils.

Uvita and Bahia Ballena are located in the south of Costa Rica, next to each other and directly on the Pacific Ocean. If you can stand a rain shower from time to time, you will be rewarded with an evergreen nature. Large flocks of red macaws, green lorises, monkeys, sloths and a variety of birds can be observed from the balcony of the accommodation. In only 7 minutes walking distance you can reach the main entrance of the Marino Ballena NP, where boat excursions to the whales, dolphins and the wonderful island world can be booked. The city of Manuel Antonio and the NP is an hour's drive away and definitely worth a trip. The Corcovado NP is about two hours away by car. In the surrounding area there are numerous waterfalls, all worth seeing. In the town there are numerous tour operators where you can find a variety of excursions such as rafting, canopy, paragliding, horseback riding on the beach and in the mountains, quad tours, coffee tours, whale watching, scuba diving and snorkeling, just to name a few. The south of CR is the gourmet cuisine of the country. Numerous restaurants, bars and hotels also offer breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Be sure to have a cocktail and enjoy the impressive sunset.
