The town is an ideal starting point for every vacationer to explore the special features of the region. From UNESCO World Heritage Sites to beautiful castles and special animal experiences - the most famous sights of the Lake Constance region await you with excellent transport connections. The Unteruhldingen harbor connects you to the flower island of Mainau without a stopover, the bus stops in Oberuhldingen with the Affenberg Salem and the Uhldingen-Mühlhofen pile dwellings are just a few minutes' walk away. The Uhldinger Nest itself is very centrally located. Public transportation is only a 2-minute walk away. The nearest shops, a bakery, the village center, a playground and various restaurants and banks are also within a radius of 300 to 500 meters. Friedrichshafen Airport is approx. 28 kilometers away.
