The apartment is a cozy mixture of art on all the walls, lots of books (mostly in English), and dimmed light in a charming building from the beginning of the 20th century. While staying true to the aestetics of the building the kitchen is well equipped with appliances for any kind of cooking from sous wide to waffel making. There is also a sofa and Morocco pillow for a chill and hyggelig athmosphere. The apartment is quiet and is placed in a quiet side street to the busy Frederiksundsvej (Nørrebrogade in Nordvest). So mutual respect is appreciated towards neighbours. The property is located between the Nørrebro metro/S-train station, and the Fuglebakken S-train station. So you’re never far from the bustling city center or nearby suburbs for excursions to Frederiksborg Castle or other attractions. There are also multiple bus lines within a short walk around the corners such as the popular 5C line that goes throughout the city towards the airport, with stops at main attractions.

Having travelled around the globe I have often stayed in local accomodations to get a sense of the local vibe. I hope to provide this while my apartment sits empty, when I am out myself, to visitors who want to try to live in an authentic and untouristy, yet central and hip, part of Copenhagen.

Nearby are attractions include Bispebjerg cemetery (the one with the Japanese blossoms), Grundtvig’s church, and the streetfood court of Nørrebro station. The area is well known for it’s many murals, and diverse and hip food and beverage scene. You will find restaurants with food from all over the world, craft beer bars, hip natural wine spots and bakeries, and much else beside in Nordvest and nearby Nørrebro.
