Louise's (co-owner of Møllegården) love of nature and yoga led her back to her Danish roots on the west coast of Denmark after many years and detours via Germany and Spain. Møllegården, which has been family-owned for many years, was reopened in 2024 after extensive renovation work. Five exclusive holiday flats have been integrated into the former barn. The old stables have been converted into a common room and the hay barn into a spa experience with a yoga room and sauna. Louise is a trained Hatha, Vinyasa and hot yoga teacher and runs Møllegården together with her mother Anette.

Møllegården is a flat hotel located directly on Ringkøbing Fjord, just 150 metres from the water. The stylish flats, designed and furnished by Danish designers, have been integrated into the former barn. You can expect fluffy towels, fast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and incredibly comfortable motorised beds. The sauna with fjord view and a yoga room can be used communally free of charge. Each of the 5 flats has its own terrace, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. For groups and events, there is also a cosy common room with a fireplace and large kitchen for working and/or cooking together. Guests at Møllegården have free use of a washing machine and tumble dryer (including washing powder). The area around Møllegården is an absolute dog paradise. Dogs are allowed in 2 of our 5 flats for an extra charge for the final cleaning. Peace and quiet is a top priority at Møllegården. Therefore, no children under the age of 10 are allowed in the flats at Møllegården. Please bear this in mind when making your booking.

Whether you are an angler, golfer, cyclist, hiker or surfer, the area around Møllegården offers many opportunities to explore the unique nature of West Jutland. Denmark's oldest cycle path leads right past the farm along the Ringkøbing Fjord to the North Sea beaches in Søndervig and Hvide Sande. Holmsland Klit Golf Club is only 8 kilometres away and the popular kite surfing spot ‘Bagges Dæmning’ is only 3.4 kilometres away. The beautiful harbour town of Ringkøbing is only 1km from Møllegården. Ringkøbing, the small capital of West Jutland, is characterised above all by its quaint atmosphere, cosy brick houses and its old cobbled streets which have been carefully restored. In the summer months, weekly events with live music take place on the ‘Torvet’, the old market square in the centre of Ringkøbing. Small craft markets in the Latina neighbourhood invite you to buy local handicrafts. In addition, there are more than 50 speciality shops selling everything else a shopper's heart desires. Culinary delights are also available in Ringkøbing, from fish and chips to fine dining.
