This is an old fishing neighborhood located southwest of the municipality of Torremolinos, along La Carihuela beach. Formerly, the La Carihuela neighborhood consisted of a row of small, single-story houses and shacks, some of which still remain on Los Perros Street. Points of interest in the neighborhood include the seafront promenade and the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. For decades, Torremolinos has been a favorite destination for many Spaniards and foreigners to live. And the town offers many attractions. Sunlight practically all year round, mild temperatures even in winter, and little rain. You will find friendly and welcoming people who add to the town's special charm. A peaceful place without excessive noise or long distances. Its transport links, appearance, and services are on par with those of the capital. Delicious fresh fish from its beaches, vegetables, and fruit… all presented in mouthwatering dishes at the area's typical restaurants and beach bars.
