Katrin and I, Regina (Nani), set out to build La Choza de Trasmulas to accommodate the international non-formal education groups with which we regularly work. If one feels at home and relaxed, he/she is much more willing to learn. A house that does not lack anything, we have achieved our dream! We have been managing La Choza de Trasmulas since it is founded 2016.

Property info

It is a newly built ecological house, built with natural materials from the area: mud, straw, lime, cane,... and almost 100 volunteers from all over the world. The warmth of these materials makes you feel, in our CHOZA, at home, regardless of whether you are a group of 10 or 30 people, whether you participate in a workshop or course or if you go with your family or friends. The soul of our place is its 85m2 living room, the semi-basement is prepared for games or crafts, the comfort of having a bathroom in each room and another 2 additional ones on the floors, a semi-professional kitchen prepared for cooking for groups, Underfloor heating and fireplace on the ground floor and a small pool to soak in the summer, makes it very special.

Neighborhood info

Town of approximately 200 inhabitants. The neighbors of Trasmulas are a very important pillar for our house-project, they support us and have always supported us and encouraged us to move forward in difficult moments during construction. “We are a small town, a big family” we describe ourselves, and we like that our visitors can also feel part of it. Older people love being able to say hello, talk to those who pass through Trasmulas, they give life to the town, they say! And for the children it is a paradise because there is no road that crosses the town, immediately you are in the field, in the river or in the square.
