El Médano is a small village in the south of Tenerife, a magical and alternative place, a tourist resort for couples and families. El Médano beach is of fine gray sand with fantastic views of the Montaña Roja. The area closest to the village is the most ideal for families, sheltered with fewer waves. The beaches are equipped with all services: sunbeds and umbrellas for hire, showers, toilets, lifeguard, public transport, tourist office. Great accessibility for people with reduced mobility. Lovely promenade where you will find surf shops, restaurants and cafes, in a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The area furthest from the town, reachable by a wonderful promenade, is ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing and for fans of other activities in nature, including diving and snorkeling.
