Within walking distance to the village of Chabanais with locals bars, restaurants, bakery's and butchers and scenic river. Lake Beach 10 minute drive or 30 minute bike ride which has boat hire swimming areas for children and adults, play areas also there are a couple of bars and restaurants or take your own picnic as there are plenty of tables. Limoges airport 30 minutes away this is also a gorgeous historic city. There are plenty of chateaus to visit a must is Rochechouart which is only 10 minutes away.
