The estate “Angulus Ridet” (meaning “a little corner of earth that makes me smile”) belonged to the Lassi family from Finland for more than 30 years. Originally purchased as a holiday home, it became a place filled with many happy memories. For seven years, Sari and her husband Alan devoted themselves to an incredible renovation project, transforming the property into an idyllic holiday retreat that they shared with their guests. After years of passion and dedication, they decided to retire, and it is with great pride and joy that we took over this beautiful estate at the beginning of the summer. We live on-site at Angulus Ridet in a separate home with its own entrance. We’ll be available to maintain the pool and grounds—and of course, to answer any questions you may have.

Perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley, Angulus Ridet is within an hour’s drive of many famous castles, the beautiful town of Chinon and its vineyards, as well as Poitiers, Saumur, and Tours. The estate is just a short walk (20 minutes) from the historic town of Richelieu, with its charming bars, restaurants, parks, and weekly market. Everyday shopping is also easy, with stores just 10 minutes away on foot. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will love the surrounding trails, including the Voie Verte, a scenic greenway perfect for cycling all the way to Chinon.
