The OVO Network team’s opinion - This cosy, two-storey chalet sleeps up to six people in three double bedrooms, all with televisions. One bedroom can be made up with a king-size bed or two single beds, and another has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower and a WC. There is a second shower room and separate toilet on the same level, as well as a steam room with a shower, where you can relax when you return from your mountain activities. The open-plan living area on the ground floor is bathed in warmth and elegance. In the wood-panelled lounge you can get together around the fire on the sofas and armchairs, and enjoy a film on the TV with sound system and movie projector. A second, smaller seating area will make a charming alcove for reading or quiet conversations. The open-plan kitchen has everything you need to cook tasty meals, which you can enjoy at the dining table. On sunny days, head out to the south-facing terrace, where a second table lets you enjoy al fresco meals overlooking the garden and the peaks of the Aravis mountains. There is also a covered garage for one car and two outdoor parking spaces. The road is regularly cleared of snow during the winter, so access to the property is not a problem. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Neighbourhood information

Just an hour's drive from Geneva airport, La Clusaz is an ideal year-round destination. The village (along with Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod) is part of the Aravis ski area, which boasts 220km of excellent pistes for all levels and 95 ski lifts. For cross-country skiers, the Confins and Beauregard plateaux offer ideal terrain. Even those who don't want to ski can make the most of the season, with snowshoeing, tobogganing and sleigh rides. The village also has an ice rink, a cinema and a heated swimming pool. In summer, there's no shortage of walks, from mountain trails to long hikes on the Plateau des Glières. If you prefer cycling, the chalet overlooks the Tour de France route, which often passes through Manigod on the way to La Clusaz. Some lifts continue to operate in summer, and can take you and your bike to the top of the mountain bike trails. Adrenalin-seekers can try paragliding, canyoning, climbing and rafting – just some of the many activities on offer in the surrounding area. Guests should make time for a visit to the beautiful historic town of Annecy,  just a 30-minute drive away. Its lake, considered to be the cleanest in Europe, is ideal for swimming, water sports and sailing.
