STOPOVER GITE on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, on the 1st FLOOR of the annex to our house in a space fitted out in 2020 (~45m2 under the roof). It includes a living room (kitchen, dining room) leading to a dormitory (3 to 6 beds), 2 showers, 1 WC, and a small attic bedroom (double bed). Free WIFI available. Free parking in front of the cottage. Ideal for hikers, families, wedding guests, cyclists. Location NOT suitable for parties (birthdays, etc.). Please note: steep access stairs and appartment under the roof so with parts of lower height (see pictures). No television. A table is available for outside meals. Coffee and tea are also available freely. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER I HAVE ACCEPTED IT, ELSE IT WILL BE CANCELLED BY BOOKING On Saturday and Sunday entry into the cottage is from 4 p.m. (earlier possible on request and if there are no visitors the day before). Departure the next day is before noon. On other days, there are professional activities during the day on the ground floor of the gite building. So as not to disturb each other, entry into the cottage is then from 7 p.m. for a departure the next day before 9 a.m. These conditions can be adjusted during school holidays. Electric vehicle charging station available (15kW max, extra cost). Possibility to also rent a room with access to WC and a room on the ground floor with WC and accessibility for people with reduced mobility (extra cost).

La Celle les Bordes is a very beautiful village in the Chevreuse valley (listed castle and church) and the cottage is located in the last house in the town hall district before the forest. In the immediate vicinity of the accommodation (on foot): sports (football, city, tennis, children's games), bread, coffee, walks in the forest. Possibility to play boules in the clay parking lot! Warning : no grocery store in the village (Closest ones in Cernay la ville, Bullion, or Bonnelles). Local shops 4km away, Possibility to order in advance and have a quality meal delivered by a professional cook in the village: See "Vivante - Cuisine gourmande et responsable" on f a c e b o o k. Accessible by bike: Numerous mountain bike or road circuits, pond of the tower, Vaux de Cernay. Nearby by car or bike (for the brave): Many châteaux (Rambouillet, Breteuil, ..), Espace Rambouillet. All foodshops at Cernay la ville (4km). Supermarkets 12km away (Rambouillet, Limours, Chevreuse). Be careful if you arrive late, plan something to eat because there is no catering in the evening in the village without reservations. And of course in September and October, Celle les Bordes is "the spot" to listen to the call of the Cerf!
