Welcome to this elegant, authentic country house located in the centre of the historic village of Époisses. Experience Burgundian culture in immediate vicinity of the Regional Park ‘Morvan’. The house can accommodate up to 8 people with its 4 double bedrooms, a kitchen and spacious dining room, a lounge with television and modern music system, veranda with small lounge, courtyard with terrace furniture and closed garage. There is free WIFI throughout the house. Much attention was paid to the furnishing of the house: everything breathes the atmosphere of ‘Belle Epoque’. It is a spacious house that can accommodate 8 people. With a long table that can seat 8-10 people, the dining room is a cosy place. The kitchen is pleasantly bright and overlooks the courtyard, which transforms into a real garden in spring. Garden furniture is at your disposal. The veranda, a veritable courtyard garden with a small lounge, is right next to the kitchen. The four bedrooms are spacious and decorated in old-fashioned style, while offering all the necessary comforts. The ‘Chambre Royale’, located on the ground floor, has a shower and washbasin with mirror. There is a WC on the ground floor. On the first floor, you will find the 3 remaining bedrooms and two separate shower rooms. The ‘Chambre Dorée’, at the back of the house, has a Small separate washbasin with mirror. The ‘Chambre Pastorale’ and the ‘Chambre du Coeur’ both exude a bright and pastoral atmosphere and are located on the first floor, at the front of the house. There is a bathroom with WC on the first floor, as well as the second bathroom. Both face the courtyard. You have a parking space at the back of the house and a second covered one in the garage.

Epoisses is a historic village located in the middle of fields and bordered by typical Burgundy villages. It is in this house that the cheese production of the famous cheese Epoisses-Berthaud was started. This cheese recently won the award of ‘best cheese in the world’ ! In the village you will find a bakery, a butcher's shop, a supermarket, a restaurant, a café and, for the sporty, tennis courts and a public swimming pool within walking distance. The famous castle of Epoisses is at the end of the street. The cheese ‘Epoisses-Berthaud’ is sold in the shop located behind the house. The house is an ideal starting point for walks and cycling tours. Nearby, you will find beautiful villages such as Semur-en-Auxois (‘worth a diversion’ according to the green Michelin guide), Avallon (walled medieval town), Vézélay (basilica), Bibracte (archaeological site), Alésia (Gallic village), Pré-Lamy golf course, the Morvan Regional Park - all this forms a wonderful backdrop for walks and bike rides.
