Although the bed & breakfast does excist for more then 30 years we just started in july 2023. We are both dutch and love to live in France. We like the weather, the nature and the french way of live. We have two dogs which are easy going.

Les Rocailles is situated on a hill which gives you not only lots off privacy but also wonderful views. We are located only 10 minutes from the city of Bergerac, 10 minutes from the airport and close to the river La Dordogne. The property contains more then 10 acres of nature and gives you all the space you need. We have several outdoor lounge areas and last but not least a 6x12m pool with a poolbar. We like to welcome you and are more than willing to serve a nice dinner with good wines. Or, if you want, we can organise a wine tasting. The rooms are all very comfortable with (new) kingsized beds. Whether you are just passing through or staying with us for a few days to discover the Dordogne region, we extend a warm welcome to you at Les Rocailles! What makes Les Rocailles so special is the hospitality. We find it not only important that you sleep well and enjoy a delicious breakfast, but we want to do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. For example, almost every evening we serve a delicious four-course dinner. Our pool is a great place to hang out and we are happy to serve you a drink in the cozy pool bar. Would you like to be picked up from the airport, or visit a wine chateau or restaurant? We will gladly arrange it for you because at Les Rocailles you are our top priority!

The Dordogne is both the name of the river and of the department. Whether you walk through the small authentic French villages, enjoy all the luxury in a city like Périgueux, visit a flea market, or one of the 1000 castles, the surroundings will continuously surprise you. The diversity in the Dordogne is enormous. There is no less than 556 km of river on which you can canoe, more than 190 monuments to visit, 70 museums, 2000 water mills, and 32 parks with beautiful gardens. But there is more, much more. If you love wine and good food, then the Dordogne is the place to be.
