The cottage's character truly shines in the lounge, where exposed wooden floors, original beams, and an inglenook fireplace with a log burner (operating central heating) create a cosy ambiance. Kick off your shoes, light the fire, and sink into the plush sofa—you might just feel like you've stepped back in time, if not for the modern touches that add to the comfort of your stay.
