Step into a slice of history at Bake Cottage, a meticulously restored 18th-century Bakery packed with charm and character. Nestled just moments away from the picturesque West Looe Harbour, this charming retreat offers an idyllic coastal escape. It lies within a minute walk of West Looe Quay where visitors can see fishermen at work or book a coastal cruise. Cross the bridge to East Looe where the pier, long sandy beach, and the town's many independent shops, pubs, and cafes are waiting to be explored. Our cottage is in a fantastic location — less than a minute’s walk from Harbour pay-and-display parking and just six minutes from Millpool car park. You can also pull up right outside to unload, and there’s a loading bay next door for extra convenience. The cottage is set over two floors. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy living room featuring the original bakery oven, now converted into a gas fireplace — a unique touch that adds warmth and character. There’s also a large kitchen/diner and a twin bedroom, where the two single beds can be joined together to create a super king if preferred. Upstairs, you’ll find a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a double bedroom, and a family bathroom. At the front, the cottage benefits from a small gated courtyard with a table and chairs — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax in the fresh air. Please note: the cottage isn’t suitable for wheelchair users or guests with mobility issues.

This charming cottage is tucked away location yet very close to the harbour in West Looe. Bake Cottage lies within a minute's walk of West Looe Quay where visitors can see fishermen at work or book a coastal cruise, glass bottom boat trip, fishing trip or speed boat ride. A couple of characterful pubs are nearby including one rumoured to be the oldest in Cornwall. Cross the bridge or take a boat taxi (tide permitting) to East Looe where the pier, long sandy beach, and the town's many independent shops, pubs, and cafes are waiting to be explored. For longer walks, meander around the corner to Hannafore Bay with its lovely views over Looe Island, and join the spectacular South West Coastal Path heading towards Polperro. Further afield the fascinating Eden Project is just 40 minutes by car or a trip to Plymouth is the same distance in the other direction.
