June has a lifetimes knowledge and involvement with the city in charities, groups and local government her late husband having been Lord Mayor of the City of York. Lisa, who has worked here for many years, speaks Mandarin and we welcome visitors from all over the world.

Ascot House, a Victorian Villa, was built in 1869 by Sir Joseph Sykes Rymer to be ‘Not too far from the City Centre’. He was a successful merchant and became Governor of the Guild of Merchant Adventurers and the Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor of York.
