A well refurbished 120yr old cottage, furnished with style and comfort and outfitted with quality accessories, cookware, kitchen appliances, and exuding warmth. The outside patio/garden with summerhouse and Hot tub is private and a real sun trap. There is a laundry with washing machine and dryer. Upstairs are 3 comfortable bedrooms. 2 are fitted with large single beds that can be converted to king and superking if required. The ‘children’s bedroom has a solid and generous bunk with a low single underneath. All mattresses are hotel quality with the addition of memory foam toppers. The beds are always a hit. The linen is hotel quality and stylish. Netflix, Prime, and other programs are also available. The WiFi is excellent. A full bathroom upstairs with over the tub shower is spacious and extras provided. Downstairs has a pleasant shower, toilet and basin. Fluffy towels are provided for indoor use. We are expecting an excellent sofa bed with an additional memory foam topper at the end of May if the stairs are difficulty to manoeuvre. There is also an ‘ALEXA’ with good sound quality in the dining room. The cottage is particularly well situated for virtually everything. Fans provided

We are a sociable couple and Alan especially has a vast local knowledge which comes in handy. Bev is South African born with Welsh roots. She grew up with hotelier parents and had a bnb and conference centre in S.A. before settling in the UK. We live 4 minutes up the hill from the cottage and are always on hand if needed.

Abergavenny has been listed as one of the best places to live and visit in Wales. The immediate neighbourhood is on the desirable Western fringe. The main town and shopping area is a 10-14 minute walk from the cottage. It’s also possible to head up to the mountains directly from the cottage. It’s a safe and family oriented setting.
