St. Keverne is the largest village in the area clustered around a central village square with shops, including a local butchers, a pretty church and two pubs. There are walled fishing harbours, colourful thatched cottages in small hidden coves, sandy beaches and dramatic cliff top walks along the South West Coastal Path. St. Keverne sits just south of the Helford River with its famous creeks, water side pubs and popular yachting haven and is home of Daphne du Maurier’s Frenchman’s Creek. The area is popular with walkers, bird watchers, cyclists, sailors and water sports enthusiats and is home to some of Cornwall’s finest subtropical gardens including Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissike. Visitors can explore with ease and can be in Helston, Porthleven, Praa Sands or Falmouth within a 30-minute drive.
