Situated just 300 metres from York Minster, Minster Walk Guest House is a charming 300-year old coaching inn with free WiFi. The individually designed rooms have a flat-screen TVs, Egyptian cotton bed linen, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms have views of York Minster. Each offers en-suite facilities with luxury toiletries. Complementary refreshments and sweet treats are available at all times in the guest lounge. Whilst enjoying a quiet position, the privately owned property looks onto the city walls and is just 5 minutes' stroll from the Shambles. York Railway Station can be reached within a 10-minute walk.

The Minster Walk Team strive to offer a unique and enjoyable stay. With specialist locally sourced produce along with complementary refreshments and sweet treats available at all times for our guests to enjoy we are focused on offering something a bit different. We are happy to say we have eliminated individual single use plastics in our toiletries and support Fair Trade organisations where possible.

Property information

Situated in the beautiful hamlet of Marygate in the centre of The City of York our 17th-Century Guest House is charming and unique. Next to The York Art Gallery and The Museum Gardens with views of nearby York Minster we are ideally placed for exploring the city. Our beamed Guest Lounge stocked with complimentary refreshments and sweet treats is the perfect environment to relax when you need a break from the hustle and bustle. Unfortunately we do not accommodate large single sex groups such as stag/hen/18th/21st Birthday. If you wish to make a group booking please contact us for the best options we reserve the right to refuse group bookings if not approached before booking.

Neighbourhood information

Situated in the beautiful hamlet of Marygate we are next to the Museum Gardens and Art Gallery, recently named the Cultural Quarter of the city. We are lucky to be in the centre but tucked away in a quiet setting with the River 2 minutes walk from our door for stunning strolls or boating adventures. York Minster, the beautiful River Ouse and all major attractions are all a stones throw from our doorstep.
