Driftwood Dreams is a stylish, peaceful hideaway, with a double bedroom and compact luxury bathroom (towels provided). We provide a continental breakfast hamper with homemade bread. In the sitting room/breakfast area, an upcycled French table and chairs offer a view of the cabin’s private garden. On the traditional 1970s ‘Boulangerie’ shelves you will find a toaster, kettle, and coffee maker. We provide tea, coffee and milk. The bedroom has a wrought-iron double bed, positioned so you can wake up with garden views. We have chosen eco-conscious cotton bedding, which is soft for you and kind to the planet. The cosy cabin is well insulated, with state-of-the-art heaters and double glazing. The cabin’s private garden, which has a patio and decked area, was created with local driftwood. We will always be here to welcome you when you check in. If you have any questions before or during your stay, we will respond quickly via the app. Access is via our family garden. We have a very friendly rescue dog called Roman. He is still a bit scared of the world so may woof when you arrive, but he will always keep his distance. There is plenty of free parking in our lane.

We built the cabin and created its driftwood-inspired garden over two long (wet!) winters and we have really enjoyed meeting guests from around the world. Andrew is a Kiwi and Sian has spent many years in France, the cabin decor and garden is a blend of French and Kiwi style - designed for enjoying nature and the calm of the garden setting.

Driftwood Dreams is a peaceful get-away-from-it-all in a quiet, village lane. Driftwood Dreams is perfectly located for Goodwood events (Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, Goodwood Members Days). The cabin is a cosy base from which you can walk/cycle the South Downs Way, enjoy the beaches at Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, and Worthing, see the sights and shop in the historic cathedral city of Chichester, or spend time in Brighton – a 45-minute drive away. Driftwood Dreams is a 10-minute drive (20-minute cycle/40-minute walk) from Arundel, with antiques shops, art galleries, independent boutiques, delis, cafés, pubs, and restaurants. Arundel is a gateway town for the South Downs National Park. Within walking distance (15 minutes), The Brewhouse Project, an independent, bar and café and the taproom for Arundel Brewery, one of the highest rated breweries on the South Coast, is open for brunch, lunch and in the evenings from Thursday – Saturday. There are two train stations nearby. Arundel station (direct trains from Gatwick Airport, London Victoria) is a 10-minute taxi ride away.
