Bancroft Cottage is a luxury, self-contained holiday cottage set within the grounds of Bancroft, the main house. It is hidden away in the middle of the beautiful Yorkshire market Town of Bedale, commonly referred to as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’
The property is perfectly situated to offer guests the ease of walking to shops, restaurants and pubs via its own private access whilst being only a short ride away from the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors, Harrogate and the city of York.
Guests can either choose to do self-check in via a key safe or be welcomed on arrival with the key. Hosts will be available throughout the stay if required.
There is a regular bus service into the local market towns and the heritage, ‘Wensleydale Railway’ which can take you deep into the Dales. There are a number of local walks and the area is internationally renowned for its top cycling routes having hosted the Tour De France and the Tour of Yorkshire cycling events.
