The apartment is located on the ground floor and designed to maximize wheel chair/push chair/bike accessibility. From the nearby parking/drop off point to entrance gate and garden beyond access has only the slightest incline with no steps. Likewise to enter the apartment the front door is approached via a concrete path leading to french doors with an accessible threshold.
Careful attention to the design of the interior of the apartment has created maximum accessibility with wide door openings, sockets at convenient heights and a level threshold into a wet room with a floor with only a slight fall towards the drainage..
The atmosphere of the apartment is light and airy by day but has black out curtains at all windows for those moments when sleep calls.

Christchurch and the surrounding Dorset coastline has much to offer, from its beautiful seascape sunrises and sunsets to the nearby New Forest and Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve.
Looking out to sea the Isle of Wight with its many attractions tempts another visit (easily accessed by the ferry from nearby Lymington).
Christchurch Priory is a firm favorite of mine. With its magnificent mediaeval church, it makes a perfect place to sit in wonder or sketch, and maybe take coffee in its Priory Tea Rooms.
Christchurch is an busy market town with many cafes, restaurants and pubs to enjoy. It even has its very own Regent centre with live shows and cinema.
