Rural Retreats was founded in 1985 with the aim of making the countryside more accessible for holidaymakers and giving them the best possible choice of holiday homes across the UK.

This attractive 18th century Grade II listed Cotswold stone cottage offers many traditional features including an inglenook fireplace and beams. It is situated in the unspoilt, charming village of Ebrington and is an ideal retreat for a family of four.

Attractions and nearby amenities
The excellent Ebrington Arms is just a minute from the doorstep (recently to have won the Daily Telegraph ‘Pub of the Year Award 2020 for Best Pub Food’, whereas a little further afield the gardens of Hidcote and Kiftsgate are a bracing walk over Ebrington Hill.
There are a number of walks direct from the cottage, some of which offer breath-taking views of four counties.
Harrowby End is only a mile or two off The Romantic Road, two miles from Chipping Campden and the wealth of attractions the North Cotswolds has to offer, Broadway, Broadway Tower, Dovers Hill, Bourton On The Water, Stow on the Wold and The Slaughters are all nearby.
A little further afield are Cheltenham, Evesham and Stratford Upon Avon.
Walks
There are wonderful walks direct from your front door, up Ebrington Hill. OS maps are in the cottage for you to plan your trips. The walk to Hidcote and Kiftsgate gardens takes less than an hour and free cup of tea is given to anyone who walks or cycles there. Visit for some walk details. Dovers Hill has wonderful views over the Vale of Evesham and the walk to Broadway Tower ( great cafe) from there and back is about 3 hours. Cycling
Bike hire is available from the Volunteer Inn in Chipping Campden or bring your own, a lockable garage is available (sorry, but at your risk as regards insurance).
Horse riding
At all levels with Jill Gabb near Broadway )
Gardens
Hidcote ) and Kiftsgate are world renowned gardens, a 10 minute drive away. There are books detailing local gardens in the cottage, other gems include Snowshill lavender farm, Batsford Arboretum, Sezincote and hidden in Chipping Campden - The Ernest Wilson memorial Garden.
