We are just 5 minutes drive from Holsworthy with a full range of country shops, cafes and pubs. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and perfect for a variety of activities and pastimes. In addition there are many great attractions in and around the area, not forgetting the seaside resort of Bude and the amazing North Devon and Cornwall coast just a 15 to 20 minute drive away. On the farm we have a farm trail complete with small river, ponds, and lots of wildlife. Situated in the farmyard the Barn has far reaching country views towards Holsworthy. The Homestead is positioned in its own private area adjacent to the vegetable garden and has views over wild countryside meadows. Both have plenty of space and comfort, open plan living areas with fully equipped kitchen and dining areas. The lounge areas are spacious with comfortable leather sofas, stereo, TV, DVD, log burner and of course fantastic views out over the surrounding countryside. The bedrooms are cosy, but spacious with king size doubles. All the bathrooms are fully tiled, have baths with showers and are spotlessly clean. Although both are bright and airy, they are also warm with efficient heating. Whenever you visit, whatever the weather, you will be very comfortable. The gardens are equipped with picnic bench, easy chairs, hammock and BBQ! Not to forget you have the whole farm to explore! Choose either the Barn or the Homestead and you will not be disappointed! Important Information. We are adult only accommodation. The Barn sleeps two with one king size bedroom. The Homestead sleeps up to four with one king size and one twin bedroom. Please note for Homestead bookings:- For one or two person bookings the king size double or twin bedroom is available. If you should require both bedrooms it can be added to your booking by clicking the 'Optional Extras' button (Direct bookings only).

I'm Paul and I live and work at Southcombe Farm. This involves running the 2 holiday cottages, the canoe and gold panning experiences and making sure the farm is all ship shape for making some hay in summer.
