A split level riverside stone chapel built in 1846 retaining much of its character with beams, pews, pulpit and marble plaques. It can accommodate the large party with ease, having many bedrooms, 2 lounges (the upper one overlooking the River Derwent) large fully equipped kitchen, a dining area to seat all guests and a wealth of bathroom and en suite facilities. The property has three ground floor bedrooms and a bathroom for less mobile guests. There is a sauna suite. Two combi boilers supply gas central heating and hot water with a wood burning stove in the main lounge. Electricity is paid via a meter. Wi Fi internet connection. One pet free. There is a pet charge for additional pets. The chapel has a raised patio garden with picnic tables, chairs and barbeque. Parking is on the road outside the chapel.

There are four pubs that can be walked to from the chapel and a variety of shops/ supermarkets/ restaurants a mile down the road in Belper. There is good walking from the door, several golf courses, trekking stables, and water sports available at Carsington Water. It is in an area rich in heritage and has many attractions including: Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Kedleston Hall, Alton Towers, Matlock Bath, Crich Tramway Village, Peak National Park, Carsington Water all within an easy drive.
