The Old Stables is a contemporary, self-catering barn conversion in a rural location on the Cotswold Way at the heart of a family-run farm just seven miles from the historic city of Bath. This countryside getaway sleeps 5 guests in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms, and has a spacious, open-plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, wood burning stove and a dining area with bi-fold doors that open to a raised deck with a table and seating area. The property is perfectly located to explore the cities of Bath and Bristol, nearby Lacock, Castle Combe, Badminton Horse Trials, the Kennet & Avon Canal and Longleat Safari Park. This single-storey holiday home has an open plan living space that includes a large kitchen, roomy dining area and a living area with a wood burning stove. Along the hallway from the living room is a large utility room, three bedrooms, one single and two with king-size beds, an ensuite shower room and a family bathroom with freestanding bath. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. 1 well-behaved dog is welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. The Old Stables is on the Cotswold Way just west of the village of Cold Ashton, which lies seven miles north of the historic city of Bath. As well as the easy access to Bath, it is perfectly located to explore National Trust Dyrham Park, Bristol and its vibrant harbourside and Balloon Festival, the American Museum & Gardens, Badminton Horse Trials and the villages of Lacock and Castle Combe. Just five miles away is the Avon and Kennet Canal – perfect for easy walking and bike rides, starting from the village of Batheaston from where you can head all the way into Bath. For guests wishing to visit Bath, there is an excellent Park & Ride facility at Lansdown (five miles) with a regular service that is well worth using as parking in Bath is expensive and limited.
