This is a Grade II listed building that has had a full refurbishment into The River Lodge B&B. We are located approximately 200 meters south of the town centre facing the river. nearby you can find the water taxi, coffee shops and much more.
Hello, I am the new Manager at the River Lodge since April. As well as running the Bed and Breakfast, I am also a LIVES Volunteer ( Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Services) Responding to 999 calls in the area in my spear time. I will always be happy to cater for you and do my best to provide things necessary to your stay.
Spalding is a warm charming Georgian town in the Lincolnshire Fens. The town stands astride the banks of the River Welland in an area of reclaimed marshland, where bulb growers and market gardeners raise outstanding crops in its legendary rich fertile soil. During springtime the surrounding area is carpeted with a glorious blaze of colour from hyacinths, daffodils and tulips - comparable with the bulb fields of Holland. The town also used hold a spectacular Flower Festival in May, which attracted visitors from all over the country.
Town Centre is just a 2 minute walk away providing a wide range of shops. Costa Coffee is also located just a moment around the corner.
