This cosy beautiful Arts & Crafts style Edwardian mid-terrace is on a sought after and charming street, 3 mins from the lively centre of Exmouth, yet feels quiet, peaceful, and safe.
We do encourage guests to use public transport to visit Exmouth where possible. It’s ideally situated on a well-served branch line with half-hourly trains to mainline Exeter. Parking can be found 200 meters away from the Sea Spirit, in the Magnolia council car park with cctv. The streets closer to the house are residents parking only 8am-8pm. Feel free to drop luggage off before taking the car to the car park, as there’s a gentle hill to walk back to the house. Exmouth Cycles has cycles for hire. Exmouth is well-served by the lovely beach, walks and cycleways to Exeter along the Exe estuary, and Buddleigh Salterton along the old railway line.
Welcome to our lovely Sea Spirit Guest House inspired by my passion for the ocean, and love of spending time with its largest and brightest inhabitants, the whales and dolphins, as well as my joy to live in this gorgeous seaside town: both passions which I’m happy to share with you, if you want to know your way around Exmouth, or learn more about our aquatic cousins!
I’m sure you’ll find the house warm & comfortable, though do tell us if there’s anything more you need. Though we’re new to Booking, we’ve been hosting for some time with our many visitors, so hopefully we’ve got it right for you too. If there’s anything we can improve, please do tell us first so we can have a chance to get Sea Spirit Guest House off to a good 2025 season! Every review really matters to a small business like us. Thank you.
I’ll be around some of the time and available most of the time by phone, if you need anything or just want to say hello. Who knows, perhaps you’ll be inspired by my passion for living lightly on the Earth through the use of lovely natural products and green energy. Looking forward very much to welcoming you here at Sea Spirit! Jules
One of the oldest streets in Exmouth, that’s highly sought after, with characterful houses, an excellent quiet location yet just 450 metres from the town centre, and a 10 minute walk from the seafront.
At the far end of the street is The Bicton Inn, one of Devon’s most noted pubs for its community spirit and live music (not within earshot of the property!). If live music is not your interest, then Ali’s CAMRA award winning selection of real ales, Cheese & Chess (board games), Knit & Natter, Quiz Night or Spanish Conversation Group might? Both locals and visitors will usually find a warm welcome.
Ask Jules for recommendations on Exmouth’s huge range of restaurants, mostly within walking distance of the guesthouse.
Tourist Information is also a short-walk away, though Jules provides info on some local attractions from them.
