Stanley Cottage is a lovely Grade ll listed Cotswold stone cottage, sitting idyllically in the heart of the picturesque market town of Chipping Campden. The cottage has been lovingly refurbished by its owners, in a stunning, contemporary style, and is perfect for families or couples seeking a relaxing break in the Cotswolds. Step up to the welcoming abode straight into the sitting room, boasting stylish décor, complimented by character features including striking oak beams and a large inglenook fireplace with a warming woodburning stove; the perfect space to sink into the sofas and catch up on your favourite TV show or relax at the window seat with a compelling novel, enjoying the heat from the woodburning stove. Moving through the property you will come to the thoughtfully laid-out kitchen/diner, where you can utilise the contemporary facilities such as the Rangemaster oven to prepare heart-warming dishes and gather with your loved ones at the large dining table and uncork a bottle of wine to toast to your wonderful vacation ahead. Outside through the French doors, where you will find the lovely, enclosed garden with a patio area housing a table set and barbecue – perfect for summer! - and stone steps leading you up to the beautiful shrub filled garden, centred by a stone pathway guiding you through. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique.
