I love hosting and creating special memories with our thoughtfully curated properties. I have been a host for over 4 years and am a Superhost with Airbnb. Andy and myself have worked tirelessly on renovating The Boat House, wanting to bring this gorgeous old Georgian Building back to life and offer outstanding accommodation along with the very best sea views in a beautifully quiet location. We both adore Scarborough and are still constantly surprised with how much there is to do here. We have 2 dogs and love walking them on the beach every day. We want to ensure you have a really special experience at The Boat House and are always on hand to support with anything you need.

There is a host of things to do for young and old in Scarborough you can wander through the Italian gardens up to the Spa or explore the Old Town and the 12th century castle, then head to North Bay for breath taking panoramic coastal views, finishing off with a visit to Peasholm Park, an oriental delight, brimming with beauty, from its waterfall and lily pond to the open air concerts. Scarborough has a strong music and art culture, with many live performances during the week at both The Open Air Theatre and the Scarborough Spa. Stephen Joseph theatre, the country’s first theatre-in-the-round, and is a really immersive experience with fantastic productions. There is a vast array of walks with or without dogs Dogs are allowed on North Beach and South Beach all year round at either end of the beach, which is clearly marked. Peasholm Park is definitely one for the list, beautiful Japanese inspired gardens just off North Bay with Japanese pedalos for hire and a great walk through the glen. For water lovers, you can hire equipment for paddle boarding, surfing and canoeing. For foodie lovers, a couple of favourites just a stone’s throw is The Lookout. Brilliant for breakfast, lunch or a lobster dinner, Café Fish is high quality but great prices. . The best Italians in town for an authentic night is Dante's, for an elegant dinning , Florios for family fun and the beautiful Giannis. There are plenty of Indian’s but recommend The Taj on Falsgrave (where you can take your own drinks) and Eastern Paradise in the old town. Alsoworth a visit is the Nava Sushi, which does a range of really lovely Thai and Sushi dishes. Very local to you is The Albert, a favourite local of of ours where you will be hard pressed to find a better Sunday lunch, the courtyard garden at the back is a great sun trap. Another very favourite local, one filled with characters, authors, actors and producers is the Leeds Arms. There is an abundance of coffee shops and everything on your doorstep.
