The Boat House is situated directly next to the canal within a 5 minute walk from the centre of the picturesque City of Ripon where there are many boutique shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, Ripon Cathedral for some spectacular evenings where many concerts are held and a 10 minute walk to Ripon Races. There is an abundance of walks directly from your doorstep. 5 minute drive you have access to Fountains Abbey, Newby Hall, the Dales and Grantley Hall, with fine dining and Spa facilities.
Brimham Rocks is a 15 minute drive for the adventurous types.
The property is unique, giving much character and comfort for couples and families.
There is no on site parking but plenty of free street parking and a large car park at the top of the canal basin, which is a 2 minute walk away from the boat house.

We love getting away on short and long breaks also hosting at our grace II listed property and are always up for an adventure and exploring different things.

Quiet street, full of charm, situated directly next to the canal.
Parking on street, free of charge.
Bus service to Harrogate, Leeds and York running regularly are very accessible within a 5 minute walk.
Local attractions within a 5 minute drive either by car or taxi include Fountains Abbey, the Yorkshire Dales, Grantley Hall, Newby Hall and Light Water Valley.
Within a 5 minute walk there is Ripon City Centre including Ripon Cathedral and many eateries, shops and museums.
Ideal Stunning canal walk to Ripon Races that takes around 10 minutes.
By car Harrogate is 20 minutes, Masham 20minutes, York 40 minutes and Leeds 40minutes.
The boat house is situated within a 10 minute walk to the Ripon racecourse; great for a fun day
