The cottage welcomes you into an open plan living area with smart TV and comfortable sofa. The well appointed kitchen has an electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing/dryer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The large dining table provides seating 6 people comfortably. On the ground floor is a Double Bedroom and separate shower room with WC. On the second floor there is the Master Bedroom and Twin/Double bedroom and Family Bathroom. The cottage is located perfectly for exploring Essex and Suffolk. No Pets allowed
The tiny village in Essex was the site that inspired Ian Fleming's James Bond books. Birdbrook is a picturesque little village in north Essex, within the district of Braintree, that is said to have inspired the hugely successful novelist's spy books. The name given to this parish is supposed o have been derived from the brook which passes over part of it. Birdbrook is surrounded by the villages of Ahen, Ridgwell, Stambourne, and the more well-known Steeple Bumpstead. Moyns Park, a Grade I listed Elizabethan country house is in the village, is said to have been when Ian Fleming took inspiration and put the finishing touches to his fifth James Bond noval From Russia with Love.
This newly built charming cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Birdbrook, Essex. It is located approximately 6 km southeast of Haverhill, Suffolk and is 34 km north from the county town of Chelmsford.
