The Countryman is beautiful Victorian Hotel/B&B and was built in 1900 and is one of the main focal points of Camelford. The Countryman is a traditional hotel, full of charm and character. Visitors said they loved the original features and the warm welcome they received throughout their stay. We decided to live in Cornwall because we loved visiting here ourselves as holiday makers. It is the most amazing place to live. We welcome travelers, to experience for themselves this hidden market town of Camelford and its amazing people.

NO PETS except guide dogs 3.Arrival time is from 4pm to 7pm to allow rooms to be cleaned and changed over 4.Rooms will not be cleaned while guests are in the room 5.Towels and bedding will only be changed if you ask or if needed These rules are not exhaustive We are situated just a two minute walk from Camelford high street this makes it an excellent place to discover the treasures of Cornwall. There are ten furnished bedrooms available all double, twin and family rooms have ensuite. There are also singles and a twin room which have shared bathrooms. Free WIFI is available in all rooms Tea and coffee free in rooms. Breakfast is a choice of traditional full English, Continental and dietary when prior arranged PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Unless they are assistance / guide dogs and as long as they have their own bedding and the property /gardens are not not used as a toilet. Dog body waste should be bagged and put in council allocated bins. We are 4 miles from the Cornish beaches of Trebarwithstrand, Crackington Haven, Widemouth ect We are also 4 miles from Bodmin Moor (Dark Sky Status) The Eden Project is 20 miles and The Lost Gardens of Heligan 23 miles. There are 4 top class golf courses to enjoy all within a 20 miles

The Hotel is located on the edge of Camelford, and is just a short walk away from this picturesque historical market town. Camelford makes an excellent base from which to explore North Cornwall; we are only ten minutes drive from the spectacular Cornish Coastal Footpath and five from breathtaking Bodmin Moor.
