The neighbourhood The cottage is located in the picturesque, Bronte countryside, near to the quaint villages of Haworth and Oxenhope. The quiet location provides an abundance of outstanding walks including Top Withens and the Bronte Waterfall, said to be the inspiration for Wuthering Height and Jane Eyre. The historic village of Haworth, home of the famous Bronte sisters, is just 6 minutes away. The cobbled streets exude character and charm, whilst the plethora of boutiques, restaurants, sweet shops and cafes will leave you feeling spoilt for choice. Close by, there is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you may spot rare animals and there are a series of ancient round barrow burial sites. Hebden Bridge, Worth Valley Railway and the Parsonage Museum (which commemorates the Bronte family history) are all on your doorstep. Other major attractions such as the Saltaire World Heritage Site, Bolton Abbey and The Piece Hall are also within easy reach. Getting around A car is essential for ease of getting around and there are two parking spaces outside the cottage.
