An Aveton Gifford bolt hole: light, airy and relaxing. Ideal for a couple or young family. The Loft is a big open studio space with kitchen, dining and sofa area. Large superking bed and two single mattresses. Ensuite shower and toilet. Double French doors leading to sunny SW facing terrace with table and chairs. Ideal for outside dining, barbecues or simply relaxing and taking in the stunning views. We will take 3 adults maximum and 1 child or 2 adults and 2 children. We take very well behaved dogs who will get on with our dog Woody - a daft but very friendly cocker spaniel!
This is our first season of renting so we are very excited to be sharing this wonderful space with new guests. We love taking our dog on beautiful walks be it across the fields, along the estuary, on the beaches or through the woods there are so many different stunning places we can tell you to explore.
The village is situated about 3 miles inland from the coast in an area of outstanding beauty. It is the perfect location close to the stunning beaches of Bigbury, Bantham, Thurlestone, South Milton, Hope Cove and Salcombe. Also, easy access to the towns of Kingsbridge and Modbury. Perfect for kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, idyllic walks or just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful ambience of the South Hams. Only a ten minute walk to the beautiful Avon estuary where you can launch your SUP's or kayaks and have fun on the water. Aveton Gifford has a pub, village shop with post office, enclosed children's play park and a fabulous tennis court all a short walk away.
