Entire top floor historic Tudor house in heart of conservation area central Frome. Large bedroom with some facilities - small fridge, kettle, cafetiere, crockery and cutlery. High speed wifi. Along the corridor is your own private bathroom - a spectacular tudor room with elm floorboards, shower bath unit, sink etc. It is a very old house - the stairs are steep and there are 2 sets of them to the top floor. Low beams and low doorways so not suitable for people with disabilities. House is 10 yards from the cafes, restaurants and old pubs of central Frome and its unique historic shopping area full of artisanal merchants. On the 1st sunday of every month is the famous independent market - the whole town is closed off, and the town is turned into a giant market of local producers, entertainment and food courts. Stunning. Views from the room are amazing.

We live in the oldest house in Frome opposite St Johns Church, iSt Johns graveyard and famous Via Crucis. We rarely use the newly renovated top floor and are delighted to offer it to our guests to enjoy. Am former BBC News journalist and have finally settled down after a life globe trotting. My wife Liz and I love meeting new people and sharing this beautiful house. We also have 2 delightful small Jack Russells - can be a bit talkative, but very affectionate.
